I like Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator. Much more user friendly than POR15 and has worked great for me. They also have some real nice paint for doing frames. I've had really good success with most of their products.

I like Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator. I learned about it after I did my frame in an off-brand rust converter, than coated it in Rustolium. It looks and has always worked good for me over the last 30 years, but I am very impressed with Eastwood.

I have heard of people using the polymer stuff like rino liner to do their frames. Wouldnt have any idea on what cost on something like that would be though. Some people speak of POR 15 not giving enough flex to the frames once they are coated but I dont know if that is actually true they lose flex when coated with POR 15.

If you have a 4x4 or ever think you might have a crack develop on the frame, stay away from POR 15 since it could hide or disguise a crack that you would find otherwise. I used an epoxy primer on a Jeep frame and painted rustoleum over that and it has survived very well and I have discovered and ground and welded up many a crack in it's hard use days. I know our trucks are not going to get beat like I did the Jeep, however I think POR is unnecessary and overkill on frames and suspension.

I just got some Chassis Saver, quart for $25, turns the rust black and hard, better than the Walmart Rust Convertor I had been using, got it at a local paint supply store. Also comes in silver.
