Are you going to save the glass or rubber ? I would use a new rubber gasket, then just cut the rubber near the glass on the outside and carefully push out, if you want to save the rubber, work it loose at the top corner while pushing out on glass, start one side then the other, work toward center while pushing on glass, you will need a helper or two, glass is pretty tough, doesn't break real easy.

i cut the gasket out on mine too. What i did was lay the razor flat on the glass and traced around the window cutting off thelip that covers the glass then it pushes out.
same way with the rear window.

i did it myself in 20 minutes
putty knife, kinda sharp hammer remove the trim carefully, start at a corner. cut the gasket inside or outside. most would say inside so you can just push the glass out. basically it's like removing the differential cover. just hammer alond the border with a putty knife and hammer. |
