what does the seat look like? What about the steering wheel and dash pad and visors?
The VIN won't tell you anything like that. |

Might check to see if the build sheet is in the seat...that will tell you. If the lower section of the fenders and doors are white and the upper portion is gold then it could well be an Anniversary truck. Check my avatar.

Re: Anniversery Model?
Special K, That is a great looking 50th color scheme...even if it is not a true 50th...someone did a great job on that one. Thanks for the pic...it is motivation for me.

Re: Anniversery Model?
Hey Rick,I believe that tilt is probably not original to that truck. They were introduced in`69 and were black. This was when they changed the steering wheels, too. Is your wheel a 3-spoke/round horn button?

Re: Anniversery Model?
special k...while it isn't documented.. the tilt did in fact start in 68. Most likely it was for late 68 build dates, but I have seen a few option sheets and build sheets on 68's that included it.

Re: Anniversery Model?
Not the original steering column. This is black automatic column. Originally a 3speed. Later 69-72 wheel also. Thanks for info......Rick
