"Dont tell your mom" !

I drove a few hours down to my dads place to go on our bi monthly father and son junkyard expedition like we have done ever since I was old enough to follow my dad into the junkyard and he had a surprise to show me.

Under a tarp In his shop was a fresh 454 with edelbrock rectangular port heads topped off with a brand spanking new BDS 8-71 5 % underdriven blower assembly. My dad is 61 years old. Got to love him! Some old guys go golfing or riding around in an RV or spend all their time taking care of grass. Mine builds the motor of his dreams. He's putting it in the a 69 camaro that I tubbed out and installed a 4.10 geared Dana 60 in a few years ago . He told me its just for the street but we could try it out at the track sometime but that I would have to drive it. Oh Baby I'll drive it!
