I'm wondering, how much modification would it take to put a 67-72 box and cab on a 62 swb frame, if its possible at all. A 67-72 swb frame are hard to come by around here.

I have a 71 SWB frame sitting in my back yard

I don't believe the wheel base is the same...

The wheelbase should be the same 115 inches for both trucks.

The problem is that the 62 model truck used torsion bar front suspension. They went to the coil front end in 63.

Doesn't seem the suspension would be an issue... do the mody and bed mounts line up?

Front of the frame where the bumper bolts up is different, rad support mounts are different, cab mounts can be modified to work, i have 65 swb I had blasted and painted, was gonna use it for my project but then i found a complete 72swb.

I figure if you can weld... it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
