Heater Box
Hi Guys,
I'm stripping down the 72. I pulled out the remaining hoses and took to core support off last night, so the front clip is now off totally. I removed the heater box (engine bay side) My core is fried (rusted to the extreme). The question I have is, does anyone produce a non AC heater box (the glass fiber bit that the motor, the diverter and the core go into)? A corner is broken on mine (previous PO seems to have over tightened it and split the corner. Any repos on the market? Good news is though the firewall is solid except one little inch size hole that will need plated on the drivers side. Other than that the whole thing in th efirewall it was in surprisingly good condition....even down to the rockers!! Cheers Lee

Re: Heater Box
My heater box also had a big hole in it that someone tried to patch with fiberglass. I have not been able to find a repro part and have looked everywhere. I plan on trying to re-do the patch and then paint the box.

Re: Heater Box
Non A/c boxes are a dime a dozen, unless you are just looking for new. Swap meets or ask, a board member should have one.
