Another Newbe from CA: Help me imagine my paint scheme
Howdy,
I've been a proud owner of my ~72 custom K20 for a few years, but now I want to find what the original paint should look like. I have old pictures in storage, but I don't carry enough life insurance to cover me taking that adventure So... I believe it's a light medium olive (optn 534), with a paint stripe (optn D89). What do you think it should look like? Any ideas what the paint stripe is? TIA Last edited by dubya; 11-16-2005 at 03:16 PM. |

Welcome to the forum. I'm going to copy this to the 67-72 forum so you can get your answers on the paint colors....

Your color is in here. http://autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/search/search.pl
option 534 is the code for both colors. medium olive and white. The pinstripes were two thin stripes front to rear where upper trim goes on the side. I dont have a pic but I think the stripes were about 1/8" wide 1/4" to 3/8" apart. John
