Interior colors

what are the proper interior colors for the
white/ochre/white/ochre paint job?
I will probably go with saddle b/c I can get everything I need in that color. Any suggestions?
thanks

My father in law has a 71 Cheyenne Ochre & White (original owner was his dad, my wifes grand-dad). It has factory black interior.

I like the parchment(white) interior color inside with this color. Although my burb has the black interior.

Most I have seen have parchment. However, I have seen saddle and even dark olive. I am trying to find out myself if black was an int. color option on Cheyenne Super trucks. A '72 dealer brochure shows black as an option for Cheyenne but NOT on Cheyenne Super. Go figure??? Any ideas?

Black interior was not avaliable on Cheyenne supers, only Olive green, Blue, and Parchment. I have Parchment interior in my Ochre truck. Here is what it looks like.

What is the difference in "parchment" and "saddle"? Anyone have pics so we can compare the two?

My Custom Deluxe had a parchment interior in it, and might again if I could find a good cleaner.

Saddle is brown, and Parchment is white.

few more questions

JoesJunk: what color is your headliner and dash pad?
JohnnyP: where did you get your seat cover?
anyone: where can a complete interior in parchment be bought?
thanks

Cool

Black and Saddle were an option on the 72 super cheyenne. This may have only been with bucket seats, but it was an option. I recently saw an original 1972 salesman catalog and it had everything listed in it including prices and options. The main thing I was looking for was interior colors of Super Cheyenne. If you got the bench seat you got houndstooth and it only came in Blue, Olive, and Parchment. If you got the bucket seats, you could get blue, olive, parchment, saddle and Black. The buckets only came in vinyl and the option or order number was A50.

I got my seat covers from Jimmy Carter. The "complete" parchment interior on my truck consists of seat cover, sunvisor pads, headliner, door panels, and arm rests. My carpet and dash pad are black (original color).

Jimmy Carter sells all of these items, but so do a lot of other dealers. So far I'm happy with everthing I've bought except the door panels. I didn't get them from Jimmy Carter, but several people have bought from other places and they all say the same thing - the replacement panels for the 72's suck. If you want to see the details on the problems with the door panels - check out http://pattson.web1000.com/maych/mh_pro_4.htm.

I'm think I'm going to dye my original door panels and use them instead.

My 72 Cheyenne has Saddle Interior with the ochre/white exterior. I too am gonna dye my door panels and get new woodgrain inserts unless they change the manufacturing process of the 72 door panels before I get to that point. Then I would get new panels.
