SWB frame questions.......

Thought I was being slick, bought 2 SWB 4X4 trucks with wasted frames but other wise in good shape. Gathered 4 so far 2 wheel SWB frames, coil springs.
Whoops, was going to rob all the brackets etc off the 4X4 frames and drill and rerivet to the 2 wheel frames.
Question is, it looks like the coil spring frames are kicked out for the coils in the rear. Can I still mount all the brackets etc on the coil and make it a SWB 4X4 frame.
One of the 4X4 is a 67 swb and I want to restore that one, I have 2 67(no dimple) SWB coil frames.
Where the heck would I find a great 67 leaf rear, 2 or 4 wheel drve frame?
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: SWB frame questions.......

Yes the frame are the same. The shape does not change just crossmember placement.

Re: SWB frame questions.......

Summit sells the axel perches just cut off the ones from a 73 up axel and your set. Make sure it's a 6 bolts axel.

Re: SWB frame questions.......

The 2wd and 4wd frames are different, just like you said. You can convert them though. I just parted out a 4x4 with a 2x4 frame.
