and here is one how do you get the damn black handle off of the light switch does it pull off or screw off thanks don't want to break it dave

Seems to me that there is a release button on the back of the switch and the whole rod comes out. Been about 8 yrs since i have messed with it though.

yes there is a release button on the actual switch, push it down and the plastic handle and the rod slide right out.

More detail...
Pull the lights switch on, then depress the button, and pull the knob and shaft out. You can't just push the button and pull.

I never pushed a button to get mine off. I did kinda a pull twist thing and it came off. Then when you unplug the wires to it the lights go out.
