Re: Free stuff

Probably best for locals in the SF Bay Area (CA) or someone taking a road trip. Well then, it's a high mileage 307 with the 3 speed attached to it. From carb to pan and fan to end of tranny. I had it in my 68 lwb but pulled it complete to install my other setup. It ran fine, except leaked oil. Instead of reseasling it, I dropped in another combo i had. Anyone willing to come get it. It's a freebie. I'll post pics of it later this evening.

Re: Free stuff

I am just curious why free is OK but a WTB is not. If I am looking for an item to spend money on, why not?
If I were selling and making money, that is one thing. Wanting to spend money is another. As I understand it, WTT is not allowed either. If WTB involves money and that is the reason for the fee, WTT is dead even or free to you and free to me + shipping expenses of course.
I am just curious of the fine lines.

I think the WTB is not allowed because it allows for someone who isn't a subscriber to sell you an item, just as if they had listed the item for sale.

Re: Free stuff

Hey, does anyone want a 3/4 ton rear-end off a '71? It's complete...I think it is a 4:10 or something pretty close. It is stock. It came with some other chassis parts I bought.

Free....I'll even help you throw it in the back of your truck..."in" not under
