I finally replaced my steering box as I was sick of careening down the highway with 45 degrees of play in the steering wheel like a drunk.
Since I was there I figured it would be a good time to wrestle with the steering arm since I had my raised one that needed installing. I had the hammer, the torch and prepared myself for war and pain... I backed the nuts off.....removed the Pitman arm from the steering box....and let it drop....to watch the steering arm pop right off. I think I did a back flip....... I beat the living hell out of this thing a few months ago to no avail... I guess the cold weather loosened things up a bit. ![]() God I love my truck.. ![]()
