WTB: Clutch Linkage
Hello,
I am in need of some clutch linkage. I thought I had the right setup, but after putting it together it doesn't work. I look at my buddies 68 pickup and his clutch linkage is different than what I have. So now I am in the market for the right setup. Here is what I need: -Rod that comes down from the pedal assembly through the firewall to the z-bar -The z-bar itself -Rod that goes from the z-bar to the clutch fork This is the only thing left before taking my truck for a drive, so I would really appreciate it if someone has these parts. Thanks!!

Re: WTB: Clutch Linkage
You best say what your exactly after....if it's 4x4 or a 2wd ...6 cylinder or eight cylinder, three speed standard on column, or 4 speed on floor. Things are different between those varieties.
Is this a mod your doing to truck to convert it to standard trans or was it standard trans to start with? If your modding one..you might not have even asked for enough.

Re: WTB: Clutch Linkage
It is for a 2wd with a 350 and four on the floor. I really think I have every other part. I thought I had the correct z-bar and two rods, but once I tried bolting it all up the sizes and positions of them all were incorrect. That's when I went over to my buddies house and checked out his setup and found it to be different than mine. I tried talking him out of his parts, but I guess he still likes driving his truck.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think they are different for 6 cylinder setups. Mine is a V8 and I think it is specific to the engine. Thanks.

Re: WTB: Clutch Linkage
Thanks Rod, that is exactly what I need. Plus I also need the bar going from the pedal assembly through the firewall down to the z-bar.
