Re: Ebay tow hooks

Let me think, "would I sell my 69-72 hooks for $510.00"? ...uh, yeah!

My hooks are now more valuable than my truck.

I gotta weld the bolts on.

Re: Ebay tow hooks

I have notices that the guy who won them "6renlys" has bought the last several sets that were on e-bay. Is he a board member?

Wonder what he is doing with all of them. At least 3-4 sets that I know of.

Re: Ebay tow hooks

When I see things way out of line, like this, I wonder if it is real. Do you think he will really pay over $500 or are they/he just seeing how high they can get the bid?
Another little "wow"---an NOS cig lighter just went on Ebay for over $100.
Our own Joesjunk just got one NOS 4X4 hubcap for $90+.
An NOS AM/FM for $600.
What other big sales have you seen?
Should do a thread.

Re: Ebay tow hooks

I just paid $142.00 for power steering brackets to fit my 250 6 cyl. on ebay. All I can say is my son oughta damn well appreciate not having to put up with "Armstrong" steering...These brackets are harder to find than a hooker in Sunday school!!!!!

Re: Ebay tow hooks

Those tow hooks are way over-rated. I can see where these draw money:bucketseats, tachometer, speedwarning indicator. Were these not installed on all 4x4's? What's the deal?

Re: Ebay tow hooks

They were not installed on all 4x4 trucks. Only if the option list called for it, or maybe some dealer installed as far as i know.
Wasn't it a year or so ago that an nos am/fm with speaker and wiring went for just over $1600????

Re: Ebay tow hooks

I guess I just don't get it with the tow hooks..... oh well, that's just me.

A restored floor shift tilt column just went for right at $400 on E-bay, now that's more like it.

Re: Ebay tow hooks

Heck of a lot of dough for something that will never be used as it was intended. My cheapie $15 hooks work just fine with a smaller throut the keep the chain from slipping off. If I could sell 32 sets I could pay off my Jeep Rubicon.
