Pics of the Project
Howdy all, I already stopped by the welcome forum to introduce myself so now I will introduce the project. Its a 1972 K10 350 with all orginal rust and wires cut off that lead to god knows where? (old farm truck).

Re: Pics of the Project
That looks like a pretty decent starting point.
I'm just trying to figure the pos72k10 screen name... he must be talking about a POS parts truck or something huh? That is neither a POS, nor a K10. |

Re: Pics of the Project
It is a true K10 the previous owner swapped in a Dana 44 up front and a 14 bolt rear end both from a 77 K20. Its in pretty good shape I have to admit. Alot of surface rust and the usual missing rocker panels and holes in the floor. Mechanically OK but needs some work. Good starter since this is my first project.

Re: Pics of the Project
A lot like what I have going on. 69 K-20 with typical floor rust corners repairable but rusty doors not bad, have to replace one............cheaper than fixing old door.
I have a 68 clip for it and a cherry bed. 383 going in it. got the 205 transfer ready and got the trans ready to go back together with new parts. You definetly have a good solid project truck for sure. Easy to work on and a fun ride!!!!! |

Re: Pics of the Project
This looks like the same thing as jc`s old,72 Cheyenne/10 sold to Vtblazer`s friend.3/4t suspension under a Custom/10,all factory. They did this with the last diesel `Burbs in the late`90s,8-lug 1500s.Somekind of EPA emissions thing on them.

Nice starter... mine was a farm truck too. Wire harnesses are not that had to figure out, rust is a given. What stock options does it have?
