My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
This truck looks like a pretty nice ride, maybe just cause its my trucks twin
I like the 91 front end on it. The buy it now seems kinda high. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/This-...QQcmdZViewItem -Jeremy

Re: My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
I know I couldn't duplicate it at that price...the paint on mine was 10k alone.

Re: My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
I like it . It is a nicely done truck . I like the Blazer tail gate trim panel . It really cleans up the rear . Price does seem a little high but lets hope he gets close to it . It will reflect good on all our trucks if it brings good money . Frank

Re: My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
WOW!! Both amazing looking trucks. That stocker is prolly the nicest example of an untouched original that was obviously well taken care of for a reason. Damn..even the bed is spotless!!
Thanks for sharing your finds!!

Re: My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
I am really starting to like the suburban front ends. I would even take that over the chrome grille I have now. Every time I come across one in a junkyard it is the front that is smashed though.
I wouldnt choose one over the chrome grille about a year ago though. -Jeremy

Yeah, I checked out that truck in the swap meet area of the Goodguy's show last September. Aside from the dust, it was very well done. Boy, it looks like those ebay pics were taken in the old part of Pueblo.

Re: My kind of truck, Not my kind of price
Thoes are both nice trucks and i think there worth what they are asking for them you cannot build a truck to that caliber and spent le$$$$$$$$$$!
The '84 is almost a carbon copy of mine except for the fleet bed and its not an FI eng. It's a new truck really only 17.9k mi's on it try to buy an newer say '99 tru '02used truck in that condition for le$$ it's gonna be pretty hard. Last edited by 87 STEPPER; 12-22-2005 at 10:41 AM. |
