Shipping big stuff- Hood, fenders, etc HOW?
Hey there, I have a few large items I need to ship, namely the hood and fenders off of a 69. What has been you guys' experience with this? Who/how did you ship it? Did you box them first, etc. I am trying to help someone out by shipping these, but am lost as to how. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Even if it quoting weights of a hood or fender. (don't have a scale that big!!!)

Fed Ex Will Ship Your Fenders. I Usually Wrap Them In Carpet Padding , & Then Cardboard. Hoods..... Well They Have To Go By Truck As Freight & The Shipping Cost Is More Than A Stock Hood, No Matter How Perfect Is Worth. John

Thanks, I figured it'd be a pain. Do you recall how much to ship a fender? I need to ship a hood, fenders, core support. All seperate obviously. What a pain.
