Re: high quality sliding rear window 720c-10
well as an auto glass installer ive only heard of one brand.... http://www.crlaurence.com/ProductPag...2.html?Origin= and i wouldnt exactly call them high quality,i did put one in my 83 chev, but i sealed up the seams in the slider frame myself before i put it in...they do work but i really dont like selling them, they seem to fit fine..

Re: high quality sliding rear window 720c-10
Find a factory original or one of the many aftermarket ones installed over the years. As recent as`89 I bought one that was clear with a mill-finish frame, like original.Since then I`ve been finding originals in trucks.I see C.R.Lawrence everywhere now. They probably ate up the smaller companies like FEY did with step bumpers, leaving us consumers with no choice. The C.R.Lawrence ones are like installing self-adhesive bump moulding in place of original belt moulding,IMO.

Re: high quality sliding rear window 720c-10
I did not realize there was a sliding rear window option back then. How would one identify an original from aftermarket?

Look at the option plate on my 72 Super, the slider option is listed on the upper left hand side.
