Trying to remove turn signal switch - help !

It seems that the litle red hazard knob has to come off before the switch will come out, this one does not have a screw in it, don't want to break anything, everthing is loose, but won't clear because of the knob.

Any suggestons ??? Thanks

Tilt or non-tilt?

I just had to "persuade" mine to come out. You'll have to push it into the column and remove if I remember correctly.

Thanks, got her out, sideways tilt and push, just hate to wreck anything, the hazard switch is not removeable after looking at it.
