Need advice on removing brake hose..
The passenger side brake hose is busted and I need to replace it. I could not remove it since its attached to a brake line that is on th inner part of the chassis. My problem is I have absolutly no angle with my flare nut wrench to get that hose off. Id there a "L" shaped flare nut wrench?? My truck is a 74 gmc by the way..Thanks

Re: Need advice on removing brake hose..
I've seen some S shaped wrenches before. Is that what you're talking about?

Re: Need advice on removing brake hose..
im not familiar with the hose setup on a 74 model, but is there any way you can cut the old hose off close to the fitting so you can put a socket on it?

Found them on Harbor Freight as well and they're cheap. Boxed only though. But, for the price, you could take a cutting wheel to one to make it a slip over the line. Just a thought... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=2986
