reservoir location help
Can anyone please post a pic on where the proper place for a radiator reservoir (yes I looked it up on google for the spelling) should be placed. I have the strange sense that mine is not in the right area, I will post a pic:

Re: reservoir location help
They were never stock, so there is no *proper* place.
Some of us like to mount another windhsield washer bottle on the oposiong fender to ballance it all out. I drilled a hole in the bottom of one, and epoxied a brass nipple so the hose could never from the bottom and be hidden from sight. Ithers get the pretty aftermarket ones and place them something like yours. Under the battery tray is another some what common place. Here is a pic of the dealer installed unit that was avalible. Personally, I don't like there set up. There is no reason to a hose clear across the eng compartment for a bottle. |

Mine is next to the rad on the drivers side. When's the last time you saw one of those Mountain Dew bottles?

Re: reservoir location help
i had a mountain dew bottle as well, but a plastic one with a cap. it was sealed so grime and crap couldnt get in the bottle. how is yours held in, 1 hose clamp? my previous owner stashed it into the passenger front fender (the pocket down there), i found an exhaust hanger in there and some rusty metal that got me.

Re: reservoir location help
Matt, just the one clamp holds it in the bracket I found at work.
Longhorn, sorry no deal, I had a hard enough time finding that one!

Re: reservoir location help
If it's written in Korean how do you know it says Pepsi?

Re: reservoir location help
I managed to come up with 2 different 72's (one lwb and one blazer) with a reservoir mounted on the hood latch support. Identical setup on both?
