Question Blazer/Jimmy question?

I'm redoing the rotted rubber on the double wall hardtop. I have new "Drip Rail Deflector Set" and not sure just where/how to mount this. The picture in the LMC catalog isn't clear. Do they screw into the top, the windshield frame or ? Do they attach over the front door weatherstrip mounting piece? How do they relate to the plastic vent window caps? Any help is appreciated. Huck

I can't remember exactly but I think they mount to the top of the winshield frame. I'll take a look at my truck tonight when I get home.

Bouncytruck is right, 3 screws in each pillar that have to be removed when you take the top off.

The "drip deflectors" mount to the top, not the windshield frame. They are sheet metal type screws that go into the fiberglass. I think there are 3 each. It's a bit cheezy the way they did this. Your top is contoured to match the deflectors shape. Alot of people don't even run them, depending on how well your seals and top seal out the water. Make sure your "Blazer" door weather strip pieces are good. These mount to the top of the windsheild pillars with 3 screws each and run down across the rocker to the back and meet up with the rear door weather strip. Hope this helps.
