cpp new panhard rod

I just installed this on my truck. it seems to me that should solve the problem with it hitting the frame when aired out. it was $109.00 from cpp.

i know, those were the tires that came with it. i just got the axels redrilled. here is a pic with it aired out on 30'' tires. when i get my 20's i'm going to run a 45 or 50 series tires, for ride comfort, which will also be about 30'' too.

Looks awesome! I have a few questions though:
1. What was hitting before? The adjustable panhard only corrects the rear end from shifting over as you get the truck lower.
2. What bags are you running?
3. Since the adjustable panhard bar you have (super track bar) wraps around the trailing arm on the passenger side and is about 1/4" thick, is there something you put in between the block and the driver side trailing arm to level the rear end out? Otherwise, it would be off by 1/4" to the pass side.
I have the standard adjustable panhard bar and it just uses the stock mounting location. In hindsight, I should have gotten the super track bar like you did.

Good point. I haven't lowered a vehicle before so I don't know this answer, but is 1/4" noticable?

Also does it bolt up to the stock frame location or is there a new bracket?

Looks like a good project going on there!!

yes it does bolt up to the stock location.

and thanks. i am doing a frame off, so i won't be able to drive it for quite a while, but i can't wait till it's done

1. i noticed before buying my track bar that people were having problems with their track bar hitting their c- notch when aired out and they had to mod them unless they used blocks. this new bar solves that.

2. i am running coinitec bags, 3'' DJM drop spindles, strong arms, cpp c-notch and 2'' blocks.

3. the kit comes with a plate the same thickness as the mounting plate for the opposite side.

the only thing i might change is the c-notch to a step notch. without bump stops i only have about 2'' or 2 1/2'' till i bottom out at ride hight. i want it to sit level, no rake.

Yep, there are several members that had issues w/the super track bars hitting the frame when dropped low enough (with & w/o blocks from what I remember).

That's a simple bolt on fix. My buddy, n2billet, did a similar plate but fabbed & welded his in. His pics are in the truck section & there's a decent shot of what he fabbed. I wasn't aware that a bolt-in solution was offered. Good info to know.....
