Where to get new Junction Block? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The Junction Block that goes on the firewall...I'm going to do that headlight upgrade, and I want to put a new JB on too, because of the electric fan and stuff..where would I get one, and about how much can I expect? Thanks.

I'd check around some of the aftermarket catalogs first. Or if you have a good contact at a gm dealership who will take the time to look something older up for you it might be still had thru gm. Since i worked at frieghtliner for 10 years i am going to use something similiar but its a bulhead connector as a hole has to be drilled thru the firewall as i want all my accessory circuits seperate from the oem fuse panel. I'm going to run 3 so i have batt hot - gnd - and ign.

stock one has something like 12 spare ports in it. Just need to find a source for the crimpable spade connectors it uses...

You guys are thinking of the wrong part, I think...
This is the little diamond shape thing, on the top of the firewall, has two posts on it, one is BAT and the other goes somewhere into the truck...

Thanks Frank! Exactly what I was looking for! I wonder if I can get that locally..maybe even at Home Depot/Lowe's...I need to rewire everything, for better power distribution anyway...
