2wd cab mounts same as 4wd?

Ok, i was just reading a few posts and a few people mentioned that a 2wd cab will have different mounts than a 4wd. Is it the truth? What about the bed? I plan on finding a 2wd cab for my 4x4 frame. I wouldnt think that they would be different.(other thant the low vs high hump)
cheers

I think what the posts you read were referring to was the rubber cushions between the cab and the frame. The 2wd, 1/2 ton mounts are differrent than the 4wd 1/2 ton mounts. However I believe the 4wd cushions (1/2 and 3/4 ton) are the same as 2wd, 3/4 ton cushions.

The last sentence here is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

I put a 68 2wd cab on a 70 4x4 frame. Dont know about the cushions. I ordered a set of poly mounts from Whitney in 91.
