??? about crome glove box doors

Ive been thinking about having my glove box door cromed and then painting the middle so that it matches the dash bezel. I think it would look really neat. Anybody got any pics or some info about doing this?

Don't have any pics, but sure it can be done. You might want to check the price of chrome job first - it's getting way expensive. An alternative would be to paint the door the same color as dash, then paint the inside the same as bezel.

Check with golden state pickup parts on the glove box door. I was at a swap meet in Pomona and they had a couple of them for sale. I stuck one in my 72 stepside. They look really sharp. Also bought the chrome ashtray from them.

It sure sounds like it would look good - as long as the sun didn't hit the chrome just right and blind the driver/passenger
