WTB Rochester Qjet 7042219?

Hey Members, I WTB a rochester qjet for a 72 K5 350 four speed. I think the correct carb would be a 7042219. Let me know what you have.

Thanks in advance.

I've got a "2220" and a "NO #"-smooth-nothing ever on it. I think the smooth is off a '72 and it is a Rochester with very nice original coloring.
Want to stamp your own #???

Re: WTB Rochester Qjet 7042219?

researching 4MV carburetor issues in the 1971 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual:-... Appears to be the only difference in the four 4MV carburetors listed if the float level spec. The manual lists adjustments such as Choke rod, Vacuum break, air valve dashpot, accelerator pump rod which are the same for all 4MV carbs. Hopes someone can explain just why a specific carb number is needed or required and the differences ( if any, between the various carb part #'s)

Jim - I do not know if there are any differences. I just thought I would get original number carb if I could.

Randy - Please take a photo if you have a 2219.

Re: WTB Rochester Qjet 7042219?

Hey Randy, thanks anyway. Believe I will hold out for an original a little longer. Site I looked at yesterday indicated 7042211 is the correct carb. So I guess I really don't know what is original.
