GMC Repd Parts?
Does anybody carry grille and front bumper pieces for a '56 GMC? lenses too? Any help would be great, restoring a GMC for a lady that wants to drive it ASAP. Thanks Jim

GMC lense repros are available. The "Truck Shop" www.truckandcarshop.com is located in Orange CA & you can walk in & pick them up. The front end trim parts for 55-57 GMC's are not reproduced that I know of. The 56 GMC does not have a grille in front of the radiator. If you are running a GMC hood there is a small grille with the GMC logo in the hood opening. I may have some spare front end trim parts in the garage. Let me see what I can come up with.

FYI...........Just checked the Jimmy Carter web site, GMC lense is selling at $23 each.
The Truck Shop is selling them for $13 each. There is a right & left hand lense for the 55-57 GMC. Last edited by SideStepper; 01-30-2006 at 12:25 AM. |
