FINALLY at tilt column
Browsed around this guys pasture milling over a couple of 85 trucks for parts for my son's 84. Then I spotted it. The 79 GMC van... Opened the door and YES, tilt. Called the dude up and jerked that sucker out for a cool $35. Also picked up a complete very nice inst. panel for the 84 for $20. Going back next weekend to see if I can get everything to put cruise back on the 84. My wife just doesn't understand how I could be so excited about "that thing", you paid how much for it?

Re: FINALLY at tilt column
I wonder if you would know if the columns from the van, (I have a tilt out of a 81 van), will be a direct fit into a 67 to 72 PU? Nice thing is that the vans in 81 still had the ignition in the dash.

Re: FINALLY at tilt column
You stole that tilt for 35 bucks! I paid 85 for mine and is still sitting on my basement since I don't have an adapter, maybe I need a "pm" too

Re: FINALLY at tilt column
I just put a new AC Delco turn signal switch in my non tilt column. It came with the adapter to go from flat to the half moon. Will this adapter work on the 79 column? It's flat as well.
