Best Place to Buy 1-Piece Glass
Brothers Trucks has a sale on one piece glass that ends today. It is $100 off which makes it $299. I am planning on running one piece glass and just want to make sure that this is the best kit to go with and a good price. I am planning on gettting the CPP power window kit, because it is worm drive and not scissor. Thanx

Re: Best Place to Buy 1-Piece Glass
I have the Brothers one piece window kit on my 1971. I have to say that I love the way it looks. It changed the overall look of the truck dramatically. I originally ordered the non-powered kit from them, thinking that I could save a few bucks on the power window kit. I must say that I called back to order the power kit once the non Brothers kit did not work properly.

Is the worm drive type superior to the scissor type? |

Re: Best Place to Buy 1-Piece Glass
I bought mine from MotherTruckers, they sell the Brother's glass. It was $325 I think. It is not installed yet but looks to be of good quality.

So I would do plenty of FAQ surfing before purchasing a non-scissor type.

Putter-
The CPP kit is designed for the 67-72, so I am assuming it will work fine. I have seen other companies with the non scissor type for our trucks, but I don't know now any of the work. Longstep- The worm drive system is what is used in all modern cars. They used to use the scissor type in everything. Semi trucks used to use a chain system, but they have all switched to the worm drive, it is quieter and more reliable in the long run.
