77 camper special dually
Were camper specials ever offered in dual-wheeled configuration? Were they all heavy 3/4 tons?
I am looking at buying a '77 camper special. It is a dually, flatbed, 4x4 so I'm wondering if the rear axle is a conversion? Any other info pertaining to this year and model would be greatly appreciated! I haven't been back here since I sold the Blazer but I have missed the board. Thanks for your help!

Re: 77 camper special dually
I wish I had a picture of the truck... Its perfect for all the farm chores I have. Having the dump bed is a huge bonus plus the 4wd and the duals in the back for towing. I haven't found any others quite like it and the sticker price is $2,795 (at a dealer- I wonder what he paid for it?). It is straight, stock and apparently has very little, if any, rust. Seems like a good deal.
I should keep an eye out here for something like it. The Blazer sold to a board member...
