Front coil springs

When I first built my truck,I used 3 inch drop spindles and cut one coil off the front springs and 5" shorter springs with a 1" spacer block in the rear. Now I am thinking about going lower. What diffrence will it be,if I swap the orginal 1 coil shortern springs. With a new set of 3" shorter front springs ? I want it lower, but not have to worry about the crossmember draging if someone else drives it. Im thinkin all 4 tires are 29" tall. Whats a good distance in height for the front crossmember off the ground on a daily driver. One day I might spring for bags, but I have heard good and bad about them in a driver. Sucidedoor makes a bolt in plate/bag kit for the 67-72. But I am not sure, about the ride. Anyone used it ? Thanks !
