Re: Fast steering box!
Yep, it's listed in the Summit catalog. I think the price was around $300. I meant to post about this yesterday b/c someone had said 16:1 was the lowest they made - but there is this aftermarket 12:1 out there.

Re: Fast steering box!
I would probably verify this with AGR. As far as I know the 12.7:1 boxes they have will only fit the 88-02 trucks and the 82-02 S-series..
The SB1 which is variable ratio is what fits the 67-87's

Re: Fast steering box!
I'm pretty sure the Summit catalog specifically referenced years 60-88 or something similar.

Re: Fast steering box!
AGRperformance doesn't list it though. I think Summit has a typo. If they would fit the 67-72's they will fit the 73-87's and last time I talked to AGR they said they couldn't get the 12.7 ratio for my app...ever.

Re: Fast steering box!
The AGR I have on my truck is a variable ratio box. I got it probably a year or so ago.

Re: Fast steering box!
Send Chip an email or call him at Power Steering Services Inc. He'll tell you the max we can get. I just had this conversation with him by email and he told me 16:1 variable was it. Not sure there's that much difference between 16:1 and 12:1.
