Wipers??
First thanks to all who sent welcome notes! I am ?? a month??? away from putting my 55 2nd series on the road and am wondering if the "original wipers are effective under highway/modern conditions. They are working but ?!

Hello,
Are the wipers vacuum or electrically operated? The electric one will be fine. If its vacuum operated I would do a change over to electric befor driving in the rain. I'm not real sure but I think both came in the 55s |

My electric, original wipers worked OK, and sure were a great improvement over the vacuum ones.
As with any vehicle new wiper blades always help.
