For those of you using a folding license plate bracket with your hidden hitch how does the license plate lamp mount? I was looking at buying the kit from classic performance and I'm not able to visualize how the stock lamp would work...

If it folds up, the tag that is, it will block the light, the light is made into
the bumper, well on a fleetside sport bumper anyways, no idea on others.

I know someone out there has the hidden hitch setup... How does the license plate fold, down or up?

My hidden hitch is from Early Classic and the plate folds UP. Works great. The light I use is the stock light in my fleetside bumper. Can't read the plate when it's flipped up anyway.

I got one off an 87 caprice and it flips up.

I have the Early Classic one also. Works great, good quailty, came with everything...money well spent

Also the plate does flip up and the light is on the bumper.
