before and after (pics)

hey,just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my posts on tire and wheel combo's and lowering help. ended up going 5 in front and 7 in back.275/55/17 toyos in rear.235/55/17 toyos in front on 8in.wide american racing hopsters turned out great.

Amazing what a drop and wheel combo does to the truck.

5-7 drop with 3in drop spindles, flip kit with blocks and still keeping the 3/4 ton. Shaved drip rails and marker lights, rear roll pan, cowl induction hood.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

hey,had a few folks ask about the rear bumper,so i'll post a better pic.i don't know what it's off.but a buddy thinks later model suburban.87 stepper wanted to know if the weather's always shi##y?we natives always answer yup.you wouldn't like it here.i'll post a dry pic in august.

Man Tht Really Changed The Looks I Like It A Lot And Yea The Bumper Is A Late 80's Burb Or Blazer 87 And Up The Impact Strip Was Put On Around That Time Frame. So How Does The Truck Ride And Handle Know After This Mod?

truck actually rides better than before.i'm sure it's because of belltech nitro shocks and new coils.took care of the rattles too.had it aligned and goes straight without holding on to wheel.have to get used to driving lowrider again.been awhile.i'm pushin 50 and as one of the original lowrider guys from way back around here.. they ride a little better than heating the springs and then getting 3 or 4 buddies to sit on it for that custom rake.that was old school cool.

Yeah, a older guy that I know would cruised around with his buddies in a 50s Merc with the springs heated for the old school drop. Back then, the cops would pull them over and cite them if they couldn't drive over a pop can without clearing it. He and his buddies also made sure that the two good hubcaps faced the curbside to add to the look and impress the "bystanders".

hey,got a 2.5 custom made dual 40 series flowmaster system that had to be whacked when we dropped it,probably just dump it behind rear axle,had to cut it at mufflers it hit on shocks.
