68' Ambulance
I ran onto a 68' K20 ambulance today. The owner says it's factory and was only made for 2 years . I was courious if it was really factory. Anyway it's for sale for $1500obo and it's got very little rust.It has some owner mods but overall it's very strait.Rebuilt 327/4spd/221 Rockwell.

Re: 68' Ambulance
Are you thinking of buying it? If not where is it at? I am heading to Nebraska this weekend.

Re: 68' Ambulance
Sounds interesting. The ambulance stuff is not factory. It`s installed by a specialized upfitter, like a conversion company.

Re: 68' Ambulance
I'd love to see pics of that beast - if I had to ride in an ambulance, I can't think of anything better than it being a 68 K20!

Re: 68' Ambulance
There is a 67 or 68 factory ambulance outside of my town. I've been eyeing the "white" bench seat with an intact seat-cover. I'll stop by and take pics sometime. I believe it is a 3/4 ton 4x4.
