Question Painting newer engine Chevy orange ???

Located an 89 engine with the center bolt valve covers that I might put in my 70 truck. I would like to paint it chevy orange, but thought that the center bolt valve covers might look strange painted orange. No money for chrome right now, just wondering if I should just paint it balck like it is or try the orange ?? Anyone have any pics of newer engines painted orange ???
Thanks.

They make adapters to allow you to use early style covers. They're kinda pricy IMO.

Re: Painting newer engine Chevy orange ???

Why wouldn`t they look good orange? If you want an option, try painting them Alumna-Blast (Eastwood) or a simular product.(flat silver to look like raw aluminum)
