Old Question
I bought a 94 Chevy truck A/C blower motor to replace my 71 blower motor. It didn't work. The squirle cage was to thick on the new one. Oh well anybody have any other suggestions on what year may work.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |

Re: Old Question
I used one from a 96 P/30, and like you described, the cage hit the back side of the box. I made a spacer to moce the blower motor out a little, then I ground down a little bit of the cage and it all clears and seals great.
Blows way harder than the old motor did. |
