Found a 700R4 for $200...
Out of a 87 Firebird. Sound like a good price? I'm not sure. Of course it will be hit or miss buying a used one I know. I was just wondering if this was a reasonable price. If/when I swap the motor I think I'd like to upgrade the tranny.

Re: Found a 700R4 for $200...
I would say that's a decnt price. If you considr that a good rebuildable core is worth $100.00, then a tranny that "might" be usable should be worth 200.00. Of course it wouldn't hurt to offer 150.00 and see what happens. You never know...

Does not sound to bad of a price, I agree I would see if he would go like 150$-175$ for it or something and see what happens.

Good Price. I paid $100 for mine that was with me pulling it out with a little torch help from the yard dude, see if you can get for $150. I was able to drive the truck before I pulled it. Can you drive it??
