dana 60 gear ratio
I checked my ring gear today found these numbers 6.10 71dana 30316 A3D40X 41.9 just wondering if any one knows what ratio this might be as i have no clue what these numbers stand for. thanks in advance Randy

Assuming the 41.9 stands for the number of teeth, it would be a 4.56. Other than that, I wouldn't know.

Yep, you just devide the big one by the small one (numbers) and you get the ratio, I have seen some ratios stamped on the ring gear as well and they are in the 4.56:1 format.
