Need pics of factory A/C

I need some under hood pics of the factory a/c set up, and if possible under dash on passenger side. I'm not sure what all is missing. A diagram of the vac hose hookups would be great too. It's on a 70 gmc SB, if that matters. Any help is appreciated.

Here is an under hood pic and the vacuum diagram. The service manual has a great section on AC's and it may be helpfull to you.

Hey JimK,

Any chance that book that you got the picture from shows the vacumn setup for an A/C system that has three ports from the control head (the picture you posted has two ports from the control head).

Here is a picture of the three port vacuum switch diagram. I am not sure if I have anything on the cables but will check.

Re: Need pics of factory A/C

Kacee,

If you plug no. 3 port and set up your hoses like the two port it should work just fine. The ports are numbered 1,2,3 with the vacuum source going to no. 1.

Glad you like the truck, here is a picture of it completed.

Talking Re: Need pics of factory A/C

This is the best that I could come up with on the cable routings for AC.
