Check out my new wheels!

I have actually had these on the truck over a week now but I didn't get my centers until today. I didn't want the spinners but the standard bullet caps wouldn't clear the hubs. I may end up having to go back and put longer studs in. They seemed to be a little short. I was told that five full turns of a lugnut was safe, but I don't know. I think we counted about 6.5 turns on my lugs before they were tight. Anyhow, the wheels are Wheel Vintiques billet cruzers. I got 17x8 with 4" of backspace on the front with a 255/50. The rear is a 17x9.5 with 4.75" of backspace and a 275/50. Tires are NITTO 450.

I love them. I have been considering spinners for my VinTec wheels just to change the look a little. Those look retro-cool

Re: Check out my new wheels!

Sharp truck. nice wheels. I know you want to keep it that way. Get the longer studs. My 78 camaro lost the right front wheel making the turn on to the return road when we first put the weld drag lites on it. Same deal 5/6 turns thought it would work for one race. All it cost was a front fender and a "here's your sign" stupid feeling. What made it so bad was I had the studs ordered when I bought the wheels but they were back ordered.

Nice wheels and truck! Good job on the backspacing. Do they make that wheel in a 20"?
