67 327 Stock 4 barrel carb?
Does anyone know what kind of carborator (4 Barrel) was on the stock 67 327? I am trying to figure out what it is because I want to rebuild it and I am wondering if they still make the rebuild kit.
Thanks, JRB |

Do you have a carb on the truck and just haven't looked closely to see what kind it is or are you wanting to find one to put on the truck because it isn't there?

Re: 67 327 Stock 4 barrel carb?
It is there, I havent brought the truck home yet and was just trying to do the footwork to get what I need to get the truck running again. I know it will need the carb rebuilt after setting 5 years. I figure the fuel tank will need to be flushed out and filled with good gas and possibly a new fuel pump. I have heard that they had a carter that year but it wasnt a AFB. When I was up there looking at it the carb was kind of square and tall. I dont know if that description will help.

yea probably quadrajunk. People either love em or hate em. Edelbrock is a good replacement.

Re: 67 327 Stock 4 barrel carb?
My '68 had a Quadrajet 4 barrel with the automatic thermal choke. I can grab a number when I get back in town. Easy to rebuild and adjust plus the spread bore provides decent gas mileage.
