New guy, 68 Fleetside
I'm new here, but here is my truck. I inherited it, and it was just at the right time since i turn 16 on sunday. Some future plans are
Paint it New carpet New wheels (I already have them, just gotta run to ATL to get them) Stereo (going to pick it out/buy it friday) Right now, it's in the shop getting some small things fixed, turns to left when you brake, getting a safety inspeciton etc. This thing might just be ready by monday when i get my license. But here are the pictures It's my first car.. Just been doing a little bit on it. I like it alot. We primed the cab ourselves.. Here is what it orignally looked like |

Re: New guy, 68 Fleetside
Thanks for all the great replies guys. It's been in the shop since saturday for the check up, but we called them today, and reminded them my birthday was monday, so I can only hope to get it back before the end of next week for the weekend.

Re: New guy, 68 Fleetside
looks like a great truck
just a little advice being that is such a solid truck, try to avoid cutting the dash to fit your new radio ,, that is a big resale turn off if you could mount it else where like in the glove box or under the seat or buy the right kind of radio to fit the dash but hey its your truck do as you please and welcome to the board

Good start young blood. You've got something to be proud of there. Just be careful and try to keep the dirty side down. Be safe. Rock on. Keep us posted.
