distributor

has any one every used the distributors from performance distributors.com that are custom for your engine? what do you think about them? did it make a difference?

What they are trying to do is adjust the centrifical and vacuum advance to work better with your compression, and cam lift/duration. while in a fuel dragster this would be important, in a 78 chevy it won't make much difference over a factory HEI unless you have made MAJOR mods.
