The lower priced pair are "69-72 Tow Hooks" and do not command as much, but he still is sitting on $500 so far for both of the sets, I need some extra hooks 2 sell

Re: Now this guy is making some $$$
I believe AVJoe is a board member. I know the hooks have been crazy recently. Didn't some go for $400+ this month. If I had extra I know I would try to sell to help finance other improvements on my truck.
Just like that CHOKE delete that went for $61 or so on E-bay. I have seen them on the board for $25.00 and take forever to sell if even then. Just need the right buyer at the right time.

Re: Now this guy is making some $$$
It's great to see how much people are willing to rape fellow enthusiasts for these parts, but what else is new. I guess it's just a little silly it's all over TOW HOOKS. Well, more power to them if people are willing to pay as much, now who are the sick one's Jealous, you bet i am.
Good question oscareltemblo |

Someone famous once said, "you can't rape the willing".
What the market will bear, baby!

Re: Now this guy is making some $$$
I agree raping is sticking it to an unsuspecting fool, in an online auction you are willingly throwing your cash around. If they aren't worth it, then why are people willing to cough it up? As for selling on this board, I have tried, and nobody is willing to pay. I sold a rust free nearly all original 2wd Burb on here for $2k, cause nobody was willing to pay $3k. If I had ebayed it I may have gotten at least what I had in it back out instead of losing $1k. I say ebay it all, why should I give stuff away, when more $$$ helps fund my truck addiction? Why should you sell below what they are worth? I help people out and have had people help me out but to unload stuff for 1/2 what is worth is not fair to the seller. If someone is willing to pay $500 for a set of 72 only hooks, by God that's what they're worth.
