Fuel filter
I've been looking for a fuel filter on my '72 GMC and can't find one. Definitely not a filter that I can find between the fuel pump and carb. Did these truck have fuel filters and if not are they necessary? If they are necessary where and how do you install the filter in the solid metal gas line. As always, any help is much appreciated.

Re: Fuel filter
where the fuel line enters the carb body is a fuel filter inside the carb body you disconnect the fuel line then the LARGE nut on the side of the carb body that it screws into is removed and theres a bronze fuel filter
