WTB 73~80 Front Suspension

I'm in need of a complete medium-duty (1.25 thick rotor) front suspension (hub to hub) off of a 73~80 GM 1/2 ton pick-up for a disc brake conversion.

The front crossmember is not a must have; these parts are:
upper/lower a-arms + hardware; brake parts: spindles, calipers, hoses, lines (flex & hard), prop valve & related brake fittings; sway bar; & drag-link.

This stuff is heavy so I would be looking for stuff in/around DFW (preferably within 1hrs drive from Dallas/Garland) that can be picked-up.

Hook a brother up!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Scot, I have an 89 Sub that should have all of that stuff. The only problem is that it is in Austin. We could whack the frame to get everything you need, though. I also have a tailgate band for you down there, too.

OK- if you use your existing upper and lower a- arms, I have 88 hd spindles with 5 lug rotors (will aslo accept 6 lug) , ball joints, and matched tie rod ends for a 65-70 steering link. Also have a LD 5 lug 87 spindles with outer tie rods also for 65-70 apllication with ball joints.. I do not have calipers, pads, or flex lines for either. Easily gotten from Oreilley's. I do have some prop valves.

We wanted to use the newer style a-arms w/rubber bushings. Thanks though....

I've got a setup off of a '75 model but I'm located in the Chattanooga, TN area. Probably a lot farther than you'd travel unless you know of someone coming this way.

Yeah, that's a little too far. I found something pretty local & hope to complete the deal by next Monday. I appreciate the response though.
