Hello Everyone New Member First Post
First I would like to say hello to everyone, I have been searching for a board where people are nice, and care alot about there vehicles. I have an 1969 C10 Long wheel base, 3speed manual in da column, inline 6 less than 30,000 miles on the acutal truck but the weather got the best of it. Since the truck was bought brand new by my great uncle that I never met, then my grandfather keep it up, he passed 15 years ago truck has been sitting up. My father being the oldiest of 13 now owns the truck and has given it to me his youngiest son. I hoping with some help from this board I can restore this truck. The only major mods I am looking to do is change from an manual to automatic 700 or Th400, 4 bolt 350 with double hump heads, Paint I am thinking nice 2 tone with black and hugger orange, lowering it, set of chrome shoes. My first question would be the tranny swap, and steering column what will swap with least amount of mods.
Thanks Julian Memhis TN Last edited by retro69; 04-26-2006 at 10:34 PM. |

Hello from an old timer and welcome to the boards. If you go to this thread and read the entries it will save you a lot of posts and give you a ton of info on your truck.
